Article 51

County or district governors at the centres of election districtsare required to issue the opinion of the Executive Board, including the legaljustification, to the disqualified candidates within one day.  Also, theyare to inform the provincial Supervisory Board-including all documents andrecords as attachments-via the fastest means available.

 

Clause.  Disqualifiedcandidates have the right to make their appeal (including its justification) tothe provincial Supervisory Board within four days of receiving the result.

 

Article 52

Reports and appeals will be reviewed within seven days after thedeadline for appeals in a meeting of the provincial Supervisory Board.

 

The result will be written up in the minutes of the meeting. If the provincial Supervisory Board confirms the opinion of the Executive Boardregarding the disqualification of the candidate, the indicated SupervisoryBoard is required to seek the opinion of the central Supervisory Board as wellregarding this matter. 

 

The provincial Supervisory Board will also issue its opinionregarding the qualification of the other candidates to the central SupervisoryBoard.

Central Supervisory board is appointed by the Guardian Council (EMBof Iran). Provincial Supervisory Board is appointed by the Central Board andhence considered lower level EMB.
