| Article 167
(1) (Last amendment, SG No. 27/2009) An individual who prevents somebody from exercising his/her right to vote or from being elected through the use of violence, fraud, threat or another illegal way, is subjected to a penalty of imprisonment for a term up to three years and a fine from one to ten thousand BGN.
| Article 167 (2) (Last amendment, SG No. 27/2009) An individual who offers or provides material benefits to another individual with the purpose to persuade him/her to exercise his right to vote to the benefit of a particular candidate, political party or coalition is subjected to a penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to five years and a fine from ten to twenty thousand BGN. | Article 167 (3) (Last amendment, SG No. 27/2009) An individual who arranges the offering or providing material benefits to another individual with the purpose to persuade him to exercise his right to vote to the benefit of a particular candidate, political party or coalition is subjected to a penalty of up to six years and a fine from five to twenty thousand BGN.
