Article 115 of the Seychelles constitutions 1993, establishes the electoral commission charged with voter registration. Chapter 68A of The elections act, 1995, 3(1) establishes the Electoral Commissioner, who appoints the Chief registration officer; the latter is in charge of registering voters.
