Procedures Related to the Voters’ Schedules
(The Elections Supervisory Committee)
The lawrequires that in order for the citizen to be able to exercise his right to votehe should be registered in the voters’ schedule. The following is the methodwhereby voters’ schedules are prepared and displayed and ways to object tothem:
Firstly: Method of preparing voters’ schedules:
The ElectionsSupervisory Committee in each of the governorates prepares the voters’schedules in the electoral constituencies of the Governorate which comes underthe Committee’s jurisdiction.

Decree No. 14 of 2002 on Exercising Political Rights
In every governorate a committee is to be appointed by the order of theMinister of Justice and Islamic Affairs called 'The Elections andReferendums Supervisory Committee' comprising of the chairman from ajudicial or legal body and two members, one of them takes the position of thesecretary. This committee is authorized to prepare the voters' schedule,receive and sort the application for candidacy, prepare the candidates'schedules and look into objections regarding the process.
