Registration of voters is continuous. A general registration of voters takes place every year. Registration is on voters roll with constituency registration officers who are subject to the control of the Chief Registration officer, equally in the same article, part 2 cap 25, the chief registration officer may use any information furnished to the chief elections officer for issues of a national identity card, under the national identity card act& that purpose may require the chief officer of the civil status to communicate to the chief registration officers such information.
