EMB is involved in voter registration. The records are created with subset of citizen data obtained from National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), which are then verified and Electoral Area is assigned through door to door verification exercise by EMB. The uniqueness of the voter is inherited from uniqueness of citizen data which is maintained by means of bio-metric (fingers and facial) technology.
