Despite the process being manual, there is some use of technology such as digital photography of the voter and fingerprinting technology. The voter registration process is manual, and the eligible voter presents a valid identification (or is attested by two people if there is no identification), fingerprinted and then photographed, and thereafter issued a voter’s card.
