If the EMB uses technology to collect voter registration data, is biometric data captured and used during registration?

The biometric data captures was finger prints and picture of the voter. “Biometric Voter Registration kits will be used to take finger prints of all ten fingers, a voters’ picture and signature. The registration kits were used to capture the photos of those registering since they were equipped with digital cameras

Liberia National Elections Commission Voter Registration Regulations section (20) on Registration Role Approved n 25th August 2010 and Amended 28th August 2011 states that “The record in the registration roll prepared for each polling place shall include the voter identification number, name, age, sex and photograph of the person whose name appears”.
Biometric data was captures during the voter registration process. “Voter registration took place from Jan. 10 to Feb. 6, 2011, with photo identification cards issued to each registered voter” (The Carter Center National Elections in Liberia Fall 2011 – Final report).
