If the EMB uses technology to collect voter registration data, is biometric data captured and used during registration?

Theinformation in the voter register is based on the civil registry. The civilregistry has recently started collecting fingerprint scans, as part of the IDissuance process. Although this data is not yet shared with the EMB or evencollected for a sizeable portion of the population, but this leaves room in thefuture for the use of such data in voter authentication.
