Is technology used for identifying voters at polling stations (electronic poll books)?

The only document usedfor verification is the voter’s card.

Accordingto Article 66 of the Electoral Law of Ethiopia Amendment ProclamationNo.532/2007, once the voter gets to the polling station, s/he shall hand his/herelector's card to the electoral officers of the polling station, whereupon theyshall proceed to verify the identity by examining the card.
