Only a Paper Photo Electoral Roll is used.
1. Electronic poll books without photographs i.e. PDF format of Assembly constituency wise electoral rolls are hosted over CEO as well as official website of ECI (eci.nic.in). Technology is also used to facilitate electors in finding their names and polling station location via Google maps.
2. In polling stations a hard copy of the electoral rolls with photographs are made available so that polling station personnel’s are able to identify the electors. Since all polling stations are not having PC and internet connectivity, hard copy of photo electoral rolls are made available in all polling stations.
