Is technology used for identifying voters at polling stations (electronic poll books)?

Article (83): Polling Procedures 1. The chairperson of the polling center staff or the member of the staff appointed thereby shall verify the identity of the voter and verify whether his/her name is entered in the final voters’ registry of the relevant polling center. […]

5. The chairperson of the polling center staff or one of its members shall cross out the name of the voter from the voters registry and return his/her identification card after stamping it to verify that he/she has cast his/her vote and put the voting ink on the voter’s finger.

Electoral law is silent about this question. It should be noted that the EMB collects voter registration data in electronic format. However, it is not possible to know if electronic poll books are used on election day.
