The digital voter registration in Yemen is still a pilot project. Several reports from experts in the field and news releases suggest that EMB will use technology to identify voters and devices. This system might be offline because of the electricity shortage outside Sanaa. The method used in identifying voters has not been formalized and more explanations are to come from Yemen EMB.
