Gambians vote with their marble
Gambia enacts a unique way of voting, where “Voters enter a booth and pop a clear glass marble into one of three drums representing the candidates, instead of a putting a ballot paper into a box. They put marbles in ballot boxes of their preferred candidates. The ballot boxes are painted with its own identifying colours and their party symbol/photograph. As the marble falls into the drum, it hits a bell so officials can tell if anyone votes more than once. "
