According to the Electoral Code, Article 75,the voting procedure is laid out as follows: Upon entering the voting area, thevoter presents his voter card the registration status in noted on theelectoral roll. Then he is given a ballot, goes to the voting booth, markstheir choice and folds the ballot in four at right angles, so as to conceal hisvote. He then notes that he carries only one ballot; and then the Presidentnotes without touching it lets the voter introduce the vote into the ballotbox. When combining elections, the voter after the first vote, takes the ballotscheduled for the second vote goes to the voting booth planned for the secondelection, signals his choice and fold the ballot so as to conceal his vote. Hethen notes that he carries only one fold; and is allowed to introduce the voteinto the ballot box.
Article 76: Each voting machine has one ormore booths. The booths must ensure the secrecy of the vote of each elector.They should be placed so as not to hide from the public the voting.
