Article 36
Each polling station has an urn and one or more polling booths. The ballot box must be transparent at least on one side and present guarantees Security and inviolability. It is provided with a single opening. This opening is intended to allow the envelope containing the vote. Before the ballot begins, the ballot box is emptied, closed and sealed by the President of the polling station in the presence of the polling station, the delegates from the Election Commission, as appropriate, and voters and observers present. The polling booths must allow the secrecy of each voter's vote. They must be placed so as not to conceal the voting operations from the public. The technical specifications for urns and polling booths are laid down by decree in Council of Ministers, on a proposal from the Commission elections.
Article 37
Voting takes place by means of a single ballot provided by the Commission on Elections. No one shall be allowed to vote unless s/he proves his/her identity. The voter, after verifying his/her identity by means of a voter card and national identity card, or any other document in lieu card takes on the table discharge itself, the single ballot passes through the booth to make a choice and returns to cast the vote in the box. Any elector reaches a certain infirmity or physical handicap making it impossible to perform the operations described above is allowed to be assisted by a person of his/her choice. The vote of the elector shall be evidenced by the signature thereof, and by affixing the stamp of his/her left index finger on the list in the margin of the voters name in indelible ink This provision from the electoral law of Cote d’Ivoire proves that there is no electronic voting in the county.
