If e-voting is currently being used, what type(s) of technology used?

In April 2011, the ministry of communication and information technology consulted the Indian election commission on how to use e voting based on the Indian experience. The Egyptian government planed to introduce e-voting system in the next legislative election but this plan was cancelled due to the high cost required for this technology.
