No systematic use of electronic voting has yet been implemented, but there have been several instances of the practice, particularly in the case of elections for public service cooperatives and utilities. News organizations indicate that these cases of electronic voting are being used as trials for potential implementation more broadly by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.
