Miguel de Brito 2012 Report on the General Elections of 31 August 2012 in the Republic Of Angola, EISA , p. 11. The voting steps are as follows: first, the voter’s identity is verified; then, the voter’s name is ticked off on the voters’ roll and the voter receives the ballot paper. Once the voter has marked the ballot paper in the voting booth, s/he casts the vote in the ballot box, has her/his finger inked with indelible ink, and receives her/his voter’s card back.
