If e-voting is NOT currently being used, what is the current status of e-voting in general?

During the 2013 elections, electronic voting was not used in Mali. However, voters used the NINA card as identification to gain access to the voting area. This card contained a digital photo and fingerprints for the holder, and was used purposefully for voter identification.
