There are studies that are being carried out to use e-voting in Turkey in the future. Amendment to Law on Basic Provisions for Elections and Voter Registers, which was published in Officıal Gazette dated 9/5/2012 has changed the article 94/a with the provision with regard to out of country voter can vote by using electronic voting methods. However, e-voting has not been used yet. In the latest elections in 2015 overseas voters voting using traditional methods.
