Are official election results processed by an electronic tabulation system?

Upon completing their initial scrutiny, polling station officials will send their results in paper form to a local Precinct for Transmission and Publication of Certificates (Recinto de Transmisión y Publicación de Actas). At each precinct, a computer and scanner are equipped to allow for certificates to be immediately uploaded to the National Electoral Council’s online platform (source). The scans would then be sent to each province’s Center for Results Processing to be tabulated and verified.
