PART IX : DECLARATIONOF RESULT (a) For GCs and the DC (second) FC

5.95 In respect of aGC election and a by-election for the DC (second) FC which is not held on thesame day of another by-election of any GC, the PRO of each of the countingstations shall report to an ARO for the constituency the final counting orre-count result of his counting station; in respect of a DC (second) FCelection other than the aforesaid by-election, the Counting Supervisor of eachof the counting zone in the central counting station shall report to the ARO ofthe constituency. After tallying the total of the final counting or re-countresults with all the final counting or re-count results reported fromindividual counting stations/counting zones for the constituency, the RO shallapply the list system of proportional representation and accordingly declarethe successful candidates as elected [s 83 of the EAC (EP) (LC) Reg].
