Are official election results processed by an electronic tabulation system?

The tabulation process on the national level is not explained in the Tunisian election law or in independent manual. This is supported by reports from observers where they state that “the ISIE did not prepare an operational manual of procedures for the tabulation process and instead issued informal instructions late in the process to IRIE staff. IRIE staff members also received minimal training and were largely unfamiliar with the results management system.”

In the 2011 elections, tabulation was done manually on the national level.
