Powers of the Polling District Committee

The polling district committee shall:

18.6 count votes and draw up the vote counting record of the polling district and transmit the data of this counting record via electronic means of communication in accordance with the procedure laid down by the Central Electoral Commission;

This electronic tabulation system was adopted in 2011 during the Elections to Local Government Councils. Before that, this technology was only used on a constituencies level.
