Once the polls are closed at each polling station, ballots boxes are transported to 1 or 2 counting centers established by election commissions per local government unit within 0.5 to 1 hour. As soon as the counting process for 1 polling station is done at a counting center, the counting result is recorded in the computer system. A ballot box from each of the 30 to 100 polling stations is transported to 1 counting center, where the ballots are counted in due order. The counting results from each counting center are transmitted to the computer network, which are automatically tallied up nationwide. The information is made public in real-time via the Internet and broadcasting network.
