On e-day and right after the pools are closed, the EMB itself operates a program based on ICT applications that allows to gather, to add and to announce preliminary results on real time. In least than 24 hours after closing of polls, the data reported corresponds to more than 98% of the polling stations set up on e-day. Three days after e-day, the official collation and aggregation of results starts, and exactly one week after e-day, the final results for all national elections are usually established.
