Act No. 275/2013 Coll. from 18. July 2012

Act No. 247/1995 from 27. September 1995

The Czech Statistical Office continuously publishes the results from all polling stations on its web sites. The results from all polling stations are usually counted during several hours – depending on whether the citizens vote on the embassies (Parliamentary and Presidential elections) and on the difficulty of counting votes - majority electoral system is easier than proportional electoral system with preferential votes.

The electoral days are Friday and Saturday – the results are counted till Saturday evening and on Monday the State Electoral Commission approves the general results on its meeting and consequently the results are published in the Collection of Acts – after publishing results starts the time-limit for judicial review.
