During the Presidential (2011) and Legislative (2011) elections final results were established after 1 day.
In Portugal the process of official tabulation of the results of each type of election is specified in the respective electoral law and are based on the creation, for each election, of tabulation centers. The publication of the official results is on the responsibility of the National Elections Commission.
The information of “1 day” in “Number of days or hours it took to establish final results” refers to the provisional results of the tabulation conducted by the Electoral Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
