Sudan election law of 2008

Article 82: declaration of final results: The Commission shall, immediately after the end of the period specified for submission of appeals and decision thereon under this Act, and after taking into consideration any decisions made in this respect by the Court, prepare and declare the final results

of the elections, within a period not exceeding forty eight hours after the end of the decision period on the appeals, provided that such declaration shall be made no later than thirty days from the date of the end of polling, and such declaration shall include all the details as specified in the Rules to be made according to the provisions of section 79. http://www.cmi.no/sudan/doc/?id=1035

Due to the irregularity in some election centers, the announcement of parliamentary election had to be delayed for more than three weeks.

A re-poll was ordered in some constituencies during the legislative elections, and final results were delayed for that reason.
