Denmark
Folketing (Parliamentary) Elections Act (Consolidated Act No. 369 of 10 April 2014)
Parts 9 and 10
The day after election day a recount is conducted in the nomination districts and reported electronically to Statistics Denmark, which tabulate the results again and perform a quality check of the results and polling books. Corrections are performed by Statistics Denmark in cooperation with the relevant electoral commissions. This quality check takes about 4-5 days before the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Interior is able to announce the final certified results.
