Through the Biometric Voter Registration implemented as of April 2012, ELECAM provides Cameroon with electronic voter registration and polling assignment checks. The assignment of voters to polling stations is the final stages of the BVR process.
The electoral roll in Cameroon stipulates that the number of voters assigned to any given polling station may not exceed 500 and this is based on time estimations for processing one voter during the actual poll.
