Article 40
Public Inspection of Electoral Register

40.1 The head of Gu/Si/Gun [district, city, or county] shall offer the electoral register for public inspection in a predetermined place for three days, beginning on the day after the period for preparing the electoral register has expired. In such cases, the head of Gu/Si/Gun shall take technical measures for persons who have the right to vote to peruse the electoral register on the Internet homepage opened and operated by the relevant Gu/Si/Gun.

40.2 Any elector may freely peruse the electoral register. The inspection of the electoral register on the Internet homepage referred to in the provisions of paragraph (1) shall be limited to the information pertaining to the elector himself.

40.3 The head of Gu/Si/Gun shall publish the place, the method, and the address of the Internet homepage and inspection methods referred to in paragraph (1) by no later than three days before the beginning of public inspection.

Article 44
Finalization and Effects of Electoral Registers

44.2 The head of Gu/Si/Gun shall take technical measures in order for an elector to confirm whether he/she is enrolled in the electoral register, the registration number in the electoral register, and the location of the assigned polling station on the Internet website opened and operated by the relevant Gu/Si/Gun, from the day after the electoral register becomes final until the closing hours of balloting on election day.

44.3 When publicly notifying pursuant to Article 40 (3), the head of a Gu/Si/Gun shall also publish the address of the Internet website, the period of confirmation, and the method of confirmation necessary for confirmation under paragraph (2).
