Some statistical highlights are available online from the first election in 1901, all the way through to the 2016 federal election. National statitical overviews can be found here on the Parliament of Australia website:

The AEC does not publish the electoral roll electronically, however there are overall enrolment statistics including the breakdown number of electors in each Division etc., please see links below:
