REVISION OF REGISTERS OF ELECTORS
Inspection of Revised Registers of Electors
The revised registers of electors are made available for public inspection for a period of 2 weeks. Singapore citizens may check their particulars in the registers online at the Elections Department website, or in person (with NRIC/passport) at community centres/clubs, Singapore overseas missions that serve as overseas registration centres and the Elections Department office.
Inspection of Claimant List
After the 2-week period, Singapore citizens may inspect the claimant list that shows the list of valid claims whose names will be entered into the revised register of electors of their electoral division. This can be done at community centres/clubs, Singapore overseas missions that serve as overseas registration centres and the Elections Department office.
Certification of Revised Registers of Electors
At the end of the revision exercise, the Registration Officer shall certify the revised registers. Thereafter, he shall give notice that the registers of electors have been certified and that registers are open for inspection at all reasonable hours of the day at such places specified in the notice. The certified registers shall come into operation on the date of publication of the notice.
