Articles 89 ? 100 regulates election finance and candidate/party obligations. In this regard, the Tunisian law does not require that political parties and candidate lists file an interim financial report, thus denying voters information before the polling on how the electoral contestants funded their
campaign. The law also does not provide for corresponding sanctions for all violations foreseen, such as the obligation of the parties and lists to publish their financial statements in one of the daily newspapers within two months of the announcement of the final results, and their obligation to appoint an agent to administer their accounts.
