Artículo 133.

Plebiscito es la consulta directa que se hace alpueblo sobre decisiones que

dentro de sus facultades dicte el Poder Ejecutivo ycuya trascendencia incida en los intereses

fundamentales de la naci?n.

Artículo 134.

Referendo es el acto de someter directamente ante elpueblo leyes o reformas,

de car?cter ordinario o constitucional, para suratificaci?n.

Referendumsare optional for any decision of national relevance adopted by the Presidentwithin the scope of his powers and any constitutional amendment or legislative proposalinitiated by one-third of the National Assembly.
