As of 2017, voting from abroad has not still been fully implemented in Ghana. EU EOM Report on 2016 elections did not mention external voting practices. There was even a High Court case in 2017 dealing with external voting: The Court ruled that the Election Commission should set the modalities for implementing ROPAA, which provides Ghanaian abroad the right to vote.
