Article 6
6.1 Elections held to elect the DPR, Provincial DPRD and the Regency/City DPRD shall use the proportional system with an open candidate list.
6.2 Elections held to elect members of the DPD shall use a multi representative district system.
Comment
To increase transparency and accountability to voters, the close list PR system was switched to the open list PR system in 2004.
