Electoral system for national legislature

 

Section 71:  ”The elector … shall there alone and secretly indicate on the ballot paper the candidate or candidates for whom he or she desires to vote by marking a cross in a square set opposite to the name of each”

 

Section 80: 'The Head of State shall:

(a)receive from the [Electoral] Commissioner the return of the writ issued by the Head of State to the Commissioner to conduct elections; and (b) by warrant under his or her hand declare the successful candidate or candidates to be elected.”  (Our emphasis).
