Constitution:

Section33: (1)Each of the constituencies established in accordance with the provisions ofsection 58 shall return one member to the House who shall be directly electedin such manner as may, subject to the provisions of this Constitution, beprescribed by or under any law.

Section 65: […] (7) The candidate who, on such final count of thevotes, is found to have the largest number of votes, shall then be declaredelected in writing and a copy of such declaration shall be delivered to eachcandidate or his or her agent, if present at the final count of the votes, or,if any candidate is neither present nor represented thereat, shall betransmitted to such candidate by registered post.
