64: Elections of deputies and other persons elected to state offices by the people shall be general: citizens of the Republic of Belarus who have reached the age of 18 shall be eligible to vote. 
67: Elections of deputies shall be direct: deputies shall be elected by citizens directly. 
90: The Parliament - the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus is a representative and legislative body of the Republic of Belarus. The Parliament shall consist of two Houses - the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic. 
82: The candidate for Deputy of the Chamber of Representatives who has gained more than half of votes of voters who have taken part in voting if the elections have been recognized as taken place, shall be considered elected in the first round of elections in the constituency. Elections are considered as taken place if more than half of the voters of the constituency included into the lists of citizens having the right to participate in elections have taken part in voting. 
83: If neither of the candidates for Deputies of the Chamber of Representatives has gained the necessary number of votes, the second round of voting on the two candidates for Deputy who have gained the greatest numbers of votes of voters shall be held in the constituency on decision of constituency electoral commission not later than two weeks ... The candidate for Deputy who has gained the majority of votes of voters who have taken part in voting shall be considered elected.
