42.(8) The candidate who, on such final count of the votes, is found to havesecured the largest number of votes, shall then be declared elected in writingand a copy of such declaration shall be forthwith delivered to each candidateor his agent, if present at the final count of the votes, or, if any candidateis neither present nor represented thereat, shall be forthwith transmitted tosuch candidate by registered post.
27. (1) Each of the constituencies established inaccordance with the provisions of section 33 of this Constitution shall returnone representative to the House who shall be directly elected in such manner asmay, subject to the provisions of this Constitution, be prescribed by or underany law.
