Article 133
Criteria of election

  1. The elected President of the Republic is the candidate that obtains more than half of votes validly cast, with blank and null votes not being considered as such.
  2. If no candidate obtains this majority of votes, a second election shall be held, in which only the two candidates with the most votes who have not withdrawn their candidacies shall compete.

In the second election, the candidate who receives the largest number of votes validly cast is elected.
