Section 1.2 Electoral System
Elections to the office to of President and VicePresident of the Republic of Liberia shall be conducted on a two roundelectoral system. The first round shall be determined by an absolute majority(50% plus one) of the valid votes cast. If no candidates obtain an absolutemajority in the first ballot, a second ballot shall be conducted on the secondTuesday following the announcement of the results of the first ballot.
