Article 134
Elections of the President of the Republic are organized in a two-round uninominal ballot and are won the candidate having won an absolute majority of votes cast.
Article 135
If in the first round, no candidate obtains an absolute majority of votes cast, a second round is organized. Only the two candidates having won the greatest number of votes in the first round take part in the second round.
Comment
No presidential elections were held in 2012. A presidential election was held in 2014. The previous presidential election prior to 2012 was in 2009.
