Article 61: The National Assembly shall comprise 80 (eighty) members elected by direct and secret office. Elections shall be conducted in one day and within 60 days before the mandate expires. Administrative districts shall constitute the electoral constituencies. Seats shall be attributed to each list of candidates through a system of proportional representation. The electoral law shall determine the number of seats for each electoral constituency, the ineligibility and incompatibility of members of parliament and shall elaborate other aspects of the electoral process.
