NOTE: The Constitution provides for 35 elected members (see Article 53); however, this number may be altered by the Electoral Commission with the approval of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu (Parliament).  The Commission conducts reviews into the number of parliamentarians every 4 years (see Article 63) .
