24. (1) TheHouse shall consist of-
a. such number of Representatives as corresponds with the number ofconstituencies for the time being established in accordance with the provisionsof section 33 of this Constitution, who shall be elected in accordance with theprovisions of section 27 of this Constitution; and
b. six Senators appointed in accordance with the provisions of section 28 of thisConstitution.
NOTE: If a member is elected Speaker, he or she only has a casting vote (article 41(4)). If the elected Speaker is not a member, he or she has no vote (article 41(5)). If the Attorney-General is a member (as provided for in 24(3)) he or she has no vote (article 41(3)).
