13. Is there a ban on donations from any other source?

'Persons who obtain and use resources from religious organizations are not eligible to stand for elections.'?Political parties are allowed to receive income from: Admission and membership fees;Cash or property donated by organizations, companies, or groups of companies inside the country owned by Myanmar citizens; Donations from Myanmar citizens who are present in the country;Movable or immovable assets and funds owned by the political party;Any type of business owned by the political party, as long as the company is registered in Myanmar according to the relevant business laws.All contributions must have been obtained legally.? (Source: 2015 General Election: Campaign Finance for Candidates and Parties.
